John, Steve and Peter came all the way from Salisbury to rode the Walney to Wear route in just a day...with a
few necessary deviations. Peter advises others wishing to complete the ride within one day following the
designated route that they ' will probably need good local knowledge, 20/20 vision or accompany someone
who has ridden the route before. Doing it blind as we tried, would be a tall order for even the most
experienced touring cyclist. Two days would be the minimum requirement.'
