this new 160 mile route between Tynemouth on the North East coast and Ravenglass
on Cumbria’s Irish Sea coast, which is due to open Spring 2006. Another ‘coast
to coast’ route to consider combining with the Walney to Wear route if
you’ve got more time and energy.
